Matthew Frohbieter

Matthew Frohbieter has been attending Solid Rock with his family since 1990. As a young child, he held a fascination with the drums, and received a set for his 10th birthday. He first became involved in the music department as a 12-year-old boy in the Solid Rock Youth Choir. In 2002, Matt became the back-up drummer, playing every other Sunday Morning. In the years that followed, he has become one the most faithful and talented members of the music department, even giving drum lessons in his spare time.

"Music is my favorite form of worship," Matt says. "Whether it's my favorite song, Amazing Love (Newsong), or The Gaither Vocal Band, music is my best way to worship God."

"If I could do anything other than the drums, I would like to play keys or organ," he says. "Unlike the drums, those instruments actually require talent. I also would really like to us with a larger chorale group. Perhaps an organist, as well."

Matt is not only involved in the music department, he is also the Outreach Director of Solid Rock. "Outreach is held every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. for all who would like to attend," he says. "See you there!"
