ARE YOU A MAN OF PRAYER
The late C.H. Spurgeon declared "I would rather teach one man how to pray, than 10 men how to preach!"
Nearly 1400 verses in the bible talk about prayer. Jude 1:20 declares "build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray." Phil 4:7 tells us to "Make your request known to God," and yet he reminds us in Matt 6:7 that we are not to use meaningless repletion in our prayer.
We gather once a month on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. for a time of seasoned and focused prayer. The powerful impact of the spirit is felt as each man lifts his voice toward Heaven.
C.H. Spurgeon also said, “The sheep are never so safe from the wolf as when they are near the shepherd. After an awesome time of praying together we enjoy a delicious home cooked country breakfast. If you haven’t come yet, do make plans to come to our next one.
